Gil Kuno is an artist based in Japan and the US. He has received recognition from Timothy Leary, Ars Electronica, Japan Media Arts Festival, among many others.

From masturbating installations, oversized antfarms, silent DJ events, and one string guitar orchestras, Gil aims to push people away from paradigmatic thinking.

DJ/Artist. Spends a half of his time overseas doing DJ. Debuted from a Belgian label, R&S in 1993. Ranked no.1 in the techno chart of U.K.’s  music magazine, NME. The video clip of a single, Extra, released in 1996 won “MTV DANCE VIDEO OF THE YEAR”. In 1998, he composed the international version of Nagano Winter Olympic game’s theme song, and it was aired in more than 70 countries in the world. He was on the cover of Newsweek, an American news magazine, in 2000. In 2004, he won the ‘Best Techno DJ’ in DJ AWARDS, and became the top of the world in both name and reality. In 2005, he was tapped for score for Seto Nippon-kan (Japan’s pavilion), presented by the government at EXPO 2005 in Aichi. He released his album, Leaps, last year under the name ‘Flare’, playing free techno. January 2017, he performed in ‘NINTENDO SWITCH Presentation’. It was distributed on the Internet, and millions of people worldwide watched his DJ PLAY. In coming July, he is scheduled to perform in Tomorrowland – one of the world’s largest and most notable music festival. He is in the process of producing new music for the release of another album.

Khoomei singer/contemporary artist. With the expression dealing with voice and body, Yamakawa works in the fields of music, contemporary art, and performing arts. So far, he has performed in 15 countries whilst moving across different genres such as the Venice Biennale, Fuji Rock Festival, and noise and improvised music scenes both in and outside of Japan with the performance that amplifies heart sound using an electronic stethoscope and another performance that amplifies resonance of skulls using bone conduction microphones.

Yamakawa is also known as a Khoomei singer. Khoomei is a traditional singing in Central Asia, which is said to be sung by one person simultaneously using two different voices. He was awarded the Avant Garde Award at the 4th International Khoomei Festival hosted by UNESCO and held in the Republic of Tuva in 2003.

In the field of contemporary art, Yamakawa exhibited “The Voice-over” (2008, collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo), an installation in which the memories of individuals and society crossover, “‘Pa’ nishi-ment,” which is a performance coming into existence by selling the ownership of the syllable “Pa” to one art collector for 1000,000 yen, and other works. He is the winner of the 2015 Yokohama Cultural Awards Cultural Art Encouragement Award.

Using expressions created through self-programed software, Kezzardrix produces live visuals and MV for various artists. His works span diverse activities including “SjQ++” (winner of the Prix Ars Electronica Award of Distinction), black metal unit VMO, HEXPIXELS (a unit with Satoru Higa), SDKezadori (a unit with Motoi Shimizu), and Kezadori LINE stamps production. He also works as a support programmer for interactive tricks in contemporary art and digital signage.

Visual artist/New media artist. Born in 1992. Dropped out of Musashino Art University). Using various methods including generative art, he develops workflows and tools for each work to produce his artwork. Hashimoto has been exploring experimental colors and textures derived from the techniques to be incorporated as well as their noise and glitch. He works on a wide range of artworks from music videos and interactive website design to media art works. His main works include MV for various artists such as group_inou, Koji Nakamura, and Olga Bell, and TV animation “The Perfect Insider” (ED). He is the winner of the 19th Japan Media Arts Festival New Face Award.

VJ/Creative Director. Savka is a multi-creator in the fields of CF, PV production and stage direction with a focus on darkness, gloss, and groove. Co-performed artists: DJ Hell, infusion, JunoReactor, o.n.o (Tha Blue Herb), DJ Dye (Tha Blue Herb), P.T.P, sherbets, Hirofumi Asamoto, the sunpaulo, Taiji Sato, X Japan, L’Arc〜en〜Ciel, LunaSea, Ryuichi Kawamura.

Born in 1987. During his childhood and when he became old enough to understand things, he was convinced that a music festival would be waiting for him in a place with a soaring huge crab foot tower in which a CRT television is embedded. He is the leader of a group called “Open Reel Ensemble,” which performs music using open reel tape recorders as instruments. Wada has been in charge of music for ISSEY MIYAKE’s Paris Collection for the past 10 seasons. In 2015, he launched the project “Electronicos Fantásticos!” that aims to revive obsolete home electronics back to life by turning them into new electronic instruments and hold a festival for performing ensembles using those instruments.

David Letellier studied and graduated in architecture in Rennes (FR) and Berlin (DE). A long-time collaborator of Carsten Nicolai, he focuses on the perception of sound and
space, on the edge of architecture, sound and art. His work, ranging from audiovisual performances, sound installations, to autonomous machines or conceptual drawings, can be defined as “an attempt to express sound as a form in movement”.
Born in France in 1978, David Letellier lives and works in Berlin

Born in 1978. The ‘sound’ of our multi-functional daily existence is supported by various information systems. By dividing the generally recognized sound of the ‘perceptible sound wave by hearing’ and ‘perceptible vibration through sense of touch’, he is exploring the possibilities of Auditory Design. Through amplifying, developing, constructing and mixing the unconsciously experienced daily environment. He works to expand our perception and organs of perception.

and Recently, he got bunch of Prizes of the work which named “Sound of Honda”as Sound Director. He Re-Build the Legendary F1 Driver “Ayrton Senna’s Best Lap at Japanese Grand Prix on 1989, and we got 108 biggest prizes in the world (i.e. Cannes Lions Festival, D&AD in Sound Category.

after the project, Taeji brood “what do i want to do , seriously” because the environment is totally changed (included his personal life too) .then last year he quieted his company and he re-think “who am i ?” so,then he dad several chances.. its he’s first challenging Exhibition, i made Installation without Sound and Electricity , and now he’s doing the Project with his friend to making Instruments Project (with Kanta Horie, Naoaki Kojima.. Taeji made many Sound , so he interested in to build the seeds of Sound/ Music. and also making his own works again now.

Composer, Musician. Born in 1973. BA of Composition, Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. In 2002, Shibuya has established ATAK, a music label releasing CDs of cutting-edge electro-acoustic works by various artists all over the world. His major past works are “ATAK015 for maria“, ”ATAK022 Live in Paris”, etc.
In 2012 he has staged “THE END”, the world’s first vocaloid opera combining imagery and computer music, without starring any human performers. After that, “THE END” is performed in Paris, Amsterdam, Hambrug and Aarhus. Currently, “THE END” is requested to be played by several major art festivals in the world.
Now he is based in Tokyo and Paris. He does many cross-sectional collaboration works with researchers and artists including Takashi Ikegami (professor in the Department of General Systems Sciences at the University of Tokyo), Hiroshi Ishiguro (robot scientist), Hiroshi Sugimoto (artist), Jérémie Bélingard (Étoile of Ballet of the Paris Opera).

With different mediums (photography, video, installations, augmented reality..), she explores the image through the image of screens, frames and out of field ideas as well as interactions with devices which simulate the reality to project the audience into augmented and fictional parallel universes.
Graduated from the superior art school in Clermont-Metropole, she did a residency the same year in a virtual residency center and Videoformes (digital art festival) in 2010-2011. She showed her work in France and abroad during personal and collective exhibitions:

In 2015-2016, she had been resident at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris (Montmartre) and in May 2016 she created the Parade for the End of the World performance with Jérémie Bélingard and Keiichiro Shibuya at the Maison de la Culture du Japan to Paris.

In 2017, she is laureate of the residence Hors-les-murs of the Institut Français and Tokyo Wonder Site in Japan.
