Artist Profile

  • Niantic

In 2015, Niantic spun out of Google Inc., as an independent, private company and based their headquarters in San Francisco, California. Niantic’s mission is to use location based technology with games to enrich people’s experiences as human beings in the physical world. Niantic builds products that inspire movement, exploration, and face-to-face social interaction through mobile devices.

  • The Pokémon Company

Originally named “POKEMON CENTER Co., Ltd.” and founded in 1998, The Pokémon Company was established through joint investment by the three businesses holding the copyright on Pokémon: Nintendo Co., Ltd., Creatures Inc., and GAME FREAK inc. The company name was changed to its present iteration in October 2000. Since then, our business activities have expanded to overall management of the Pokémon brand. Our mission statement is to enrich both the real world and the virtual world with the Pokémon characters.
