Walk home blowing soap bubbles in March 11th.

Maaya Miki

As March 11, 2012, one year after March 11, 2011, approaches, I couldn’t keep still. Looking back, the beginning was my urge to break through its gloomy atmosphere, because people said “Indiscreet” and “self-imposed control” in public. It took courage to continue for eight years. Politics change with the times, the situation changes always. I asked myself if I should just walk. But I didn’t stop for nine years because people around me asked for the project. As long as we live on this planet, we have to live together threat of nature. We had great pain and sadness at that day, but at the same time we have gained a great deal of “awareness”. How do you think? The reason I walk is to mourn and thank the lost things and persons, and to praise ourselves for our keep walking. What are your thoughts on this project?
