photobomber_tomotosi (WIRED CREATIVE HACK AWARD 2019 –QUASI GRAND PRIX–)
Hachi waited for several years at Shibuya station for its owner who passed away suddenly during work. His loyalty impressed the people, and his statue was erected in front of the station. Being famous as a meeting spot, this statue has become one of the most important photo spots in Tokyo. This time I waited for a long time besides Hachi, whom has become a bronze statue, to reflect on others’ pictures. I searched for photos on Instagram with hashtags (#hachi, #hachiko, and so on) And this account shows the pictures that I could collect.

Of course, the subjects shown in the pictures are not me. I do not know when they were taken, but if it were me, I usually make a face. The photo effects were also based on that person’s preference.
