White Rain for LEXUS

Takahiro Matsuo(LUCENT)
‘White Rain for LEXUS’ is an interactive light installation inspired by the LEXUS automobile gliding through rain.

The meteor shower-like ‘White Rain’ reflecting off the body of the car, its sequence transforming endlessly in real-time motion lighting, gives the GS F’s glossy body an unparalleled sparkle.

By controlling the holographic display projected into space, visitors are visually able to experience the effect of light as ‘White Rain’ falls in synchronicity with their movements.  The high performance of the GS F, in conformity with the ‘F’ philosophy, and the interactive character of the innovative exhibit brings about a fresh impression to the sense of unity born by the vehicle’s readiness to respond to the driver’s will and the exhilaration of being in charge of a sports sedan.
