東京乱建築フランス語で無秩序（アナーキー）と建築（アーキテクチャー）を組み合わせた造語、「アナーキーテクチャー」。それをタイトルにしたデジタル写真で、オリヴィエ・ラツィは私たちの現実空間の認識とその表象の間にズレを生み出します。世界中の都市で撮影した写真をいくつもの断片に切り取り、それらを組み合わせて再構築し、あれっと思わせる建築を作り出すことで、私たちが日常的に目にしている都市風景の知覚に揺さぶりをかける不思議な都市空間を提示します。私たちが都市風景と思っているものとは何なのかを問いかける作品です。
Tokyo AnarchitectureTokyo Anarchitecture is a photography series which evolves around space representations and experience of the reality. Breaking up then reconstructing pictures of huge urban plants shot in various spots in the world, Olivier Ratsi plays with the perception of our daily urban environment in aim to question its references.
PROFILE
オリヴィエ・ラツィ / Olivier Ratsi
1972年パリ生まれ、パリで活動するビジュアルアーティスト。映像集団「AntiVJ」の共同設立者でありメンバー。New York Times誌で作品が紹介されたほか、カナダ（ElektraとMutek）、スイス（マッピング・フェスティバル）、韓国、台湾、中国（Festival Croisement）、メキシコ、ブラジル、フランス（Vidéoformes、Némo、Scopitone、Bains Numériques）といった世界中のデジタルアート・フェスティバルに参加。

Olivier Ratsi is a French visual artist whose work is mainly based upon representations of space’s perception and the experience of reality. He has developed a creative process based on the deconstruction of space and time. Its aim is to generate a break from the meaning of the original items, to propose a new viewing point and provide the public with a new field of experience, a different way of looking at space and time.
